With Intensive COVID protocols in place for the Steelers after a member of the Baltimore Ravens tested positive, things are looking a little different for the team this week.
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said during his weekly press conference on Wednesday that they met for their meeting at the indoor practice facility so everyone was "really spread out and that's where some of the meetings are going to have to be."
Individual meeting will also be held virtually and not in person.
Roethlisberger added that practice will also look a little different on Wednesday, "just to get guys bodies back."
Steelers defensive captain Cam Heyward says the adjustments they are to make are just part of the deal with life in 2020.
"You try to control what you can control, but at the end of the day the virus doesn't bend to our liking so, we don't know what was going on over there, I don't think it was any ill will or them being negligent on their part, but things happen," said Heyward. "It's up for us to just continue to do our job and be ready for anything."
The Steelers learned on Monday that Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey tested positive for COVID-19.
As a result of contact tracing, seven other Baltimore defensive players have been placed on the team's reserve/COVID-19 list.
Those seven players will have to isolate for five days and pass coronavirus tests before they're able to play against the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday.
