An already depleted Steelers linebacker group is losing another player to COVID.
On Thursday Pittsburgh placed Vince Williams on the Reserve COVID-19 list.
He will not be eligible for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.
That means Marcus Allen will be getting a lot more snaps Sunday night.
Williams has started all 12 games for the Steelers this season.
He leads the team with 63 total tackles with 41 of those solo, he also has two fumble recoveries.
The Steelers are already without Bud Dupree and Devin Bush, who both tore their ACLs.
Robert Spillane is also currently out with a knee injury, but his isn’t expected to be season-ending.
