Steelers make several roster moves after 1st preseason game

The Steelers has announced a few roster moves Monday as the team gets ready to wrap-up the Latrobe portion of training camp.

The Steelers have signed defensive back Mikey Victor and tight end Kevin Foelsch.

Victor signed with the Patriots last year as an undrafted free agent out of Alabama state. He has no NFL experience.

Foelsch has re-signed with the Steelers after he was released last week.

The 6-foot-4, 250-pound tight end initially signed with the Steelers in late-July.

He’s also spent time with the Panthers, Jets, Eagles and Chiefs. He also has no regular season NFL experience.

To make room on the 90-man roster, the Steelers waived tight end D.J.
Thomas-Jones and placed defensive back Cameron McCutcheon on the waived/injured list.

McCutcheon suffered a hamstring injury on Saturday during the first preseason game in Jacksonville against the Jaguars.
