The Steelers won’t be acquiring wide receiver help in the form of Jakobi Meyers.
According to multiple reports, the talented Las Vegas Raiders WR is heading to Jacksonville in exchange for fourth-and-sixth-round draft picks.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Steelers were another team that “had shown interest in Meyers.”
Meyers will become a free agent after this season.
The 28-year-old out of North Carolina St. has 33 catches this season for 352 yards and no touchdowns for the 2-6 Raiders.
Over his career, Meyers has 426 catches for 4,944 yards and 20 touchdowns.
He averages 11.6 yards per catch over seven seasons in the NFL.
