The Steelers are the current betting favorite to get wide receiver from the Tennessee Titans in a trade.

It’s believed that DeAndre Hopkins could be traded.

According to BetOnline.ag the Steelers have five to one odds of acquiring the 31-year-old who was taken 27th overall in the 2013 draft.

He currently has zero touchdowns with 27 receptions for 376 yards with the Titans this season.

With George Pickens and a now returned Diontae Johnson one and two at the receiving position, it’s hard to understand why the Steelers would be the front runners according to some sportsbooks.

The Steelers have bigger needs at other positions.

Dorin Dickerson and Adam Crowley discussed it on The Fan Morning Show Thursday.

They say a wide receiver is their main need, they need to improve the secondary.

That could be Terrell Edmunds or another player.

It likely wouldn’t cost the Steelers too much if they traded for Hopkins.

Hopkins signed a two-year deal worth $26 million this past offseason with Tennessee.

There is an opt out next season that would come with a $7.8 million dead cap hit.
