According to a report the Steelers, are going to sign kicker Sam Sloman.
According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the former Rams and Titans kicker is expected to sign, pending a physical.
Sloman was drafted in the 7th round of the 2020 draft by Los Angeles out of Miami of Ohio (Ben Roethlisberger's alma mater).
The 23-year-old won the starting job for the Rams but was waived after seven games.
He then signed with Tennessee's practice squad and played in one game.
Sloman made 10 of 13 field goal attempts and made 23 of 26 extra points.
It will be hard for Sloman to make the 53-man roster, with veteran Chris Boswell kicking for the Steelers.
Boswell made 19 of 20 field goals for Pittsburgh last year and netted 34 of 38 extra points. He was also hampered with an injury late in the season.
