Not long after head coach Mike Tomlin announced the quarterback order for the second preseason game, the team announced a move at the running back position.

The Steelers signed undrafted rookie free agent Max Borghi and waived/injured Master Teague III.

Borghi signed a deal with the Denver Broncos earlier in August, but was cut soon after.

Teague played with the Steelers during their opening preseason game at Acrisure Stadium.
