After over 12 years of business it appears Jerome Bettis Grille 36 near Heinz Field is going the way of other Steelers player’s restaurants like “Woodson’s All Star Grille” and “Hines Ward’s Table 86” and is closing its doors permanently.

The Hall of Fame running back told WTAE recently, “I don't think the restaurant is going to come back. It's been so many issues that we've had to deal with and I think it's probably, you know, best to have said our last goodbyes."

The Post-Gazette reports that the phone at the restaurant is no longer in service and its website is also gone.

The restaurant had been closed since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020. Prior to that, it was a hot spot on the North Shore for Steelers games, as well as Pirates games and concerts.

Bettis’ restaurant opened in 2007, a year after he retired from football.
