Blame Canada? Well, yeah. A lot of the Steelers offensive woes rests on offensive coordinator Matt Canada.

A simple playbook and lack of creativity make it easier for opposing defenses to figure out what is happening.

But it isn’t just Canada.

There are plenty of plays that are not being executed.

“Everybody in Pittsburgh is accountable, for the mess that is their offense,” said Audacy NFL Insider Brian Baldinger on Twitter/X, breaking down film from Sunday’s loss to Jacksonville.

As Baldinger points out the Steeler first three plays of the game, which were a drop from Diontae Johnson preventing a big gainer, Chuks Okorafor getting beat for a sack and on the next play Okorafor was sliding back. But Pickett was able to escape and make a good pass to Johnson, who dropped the pass.

That isn’t on Canada.

Baldinger then took at look at the Steelers failing to score what should’ve been a touchdown.

Pickett couldn’t connect with a wide-open Johnson, mistiming the throw.

“Pittsburgh has scored nine touchdowns in seven games, it’s not good enough,” said Baldinger.

The Steelers need to start taking advantage of the plays that are working.
