Talking to The PM Team live from radio row of Super Bowl LVI, the former Cincinnati Bengals safety and NFL analyst says the Steelers should try to get Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson.

“Just find a quarterback that works good for the Pittsburgh Steelers . . . Russell Wilson,” said Wilcots.

Wilcots believes Wilson will leave Seattle and that Pittsburgh will give him a chance to win a Super Bowl.

He adds the defense is sold and will help the Steelers win some games.

But what about what it would take to give up for Wilson, Wilcots says “why not?” adding that you don’t know what you’re going to get in the draft and Wilson is established.

“You tell me who you’re going to pick and then I’ll tell you if the draft pick is worth its weight in gold,” said Wilcots.

The Steeler do have holes on the offensive line but as Wilcots points out, a center has never won a Super Bowl and doubts many people can name the center of the two team’s involved in this year’s Super Bowl, the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams.

Wilcots adds if the Steelers want a good quarterback, they won’t find one better than Wilson in the draft.

But not everyone agrees. Former Steeler Ryan Clark said Wilson isn't in the conversation of all-time greats.

It's unknown if the Seahawks will attempt to move Wilson, but if they do. The asking price will be high.

Wilson is under contract in Seattle through the end of the 2023 season.
