Report: Former Bears quarterback Jay Cutler arrested for DUI

(670 The Score) Former Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was arrested for driving while intoxicated and three others charges, TMZ reported Friday morning.

Cutler was arrested on charges of DUI, exercise due care, violation of implied consent law and possession of a handgun while under the influence, according to the report. The arrest occurred in Franklin, Tennessee.

The 41-year-old Cutler was released from jail on bail.

Cutler was a 12-year NFL veteran who played eight years with the Bears from 2009-'16. He played his first three seasons with the Broncos, who selected him in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Cutler retired following one season with the Dolphins in 2017.

Cutler is the Bears' all-time leader in passing yards, passing touchdowns and quarterback victories.
