"I'm sick of these constant bear attacks. It's like a frickin' country bear jambaroo around here!" – Homer J. Simpson.
Black bear sightings have been more frequent around the Pittsburgh area lately, but the latest one has hit a little too close to home for one of our hosts.
Ron Cook's quiet evening took a turn on Sunday evening when a bear was seen in his back yard, wandering through his condo complex.
The video was taken by a neighbor to lives directly above him and sent it to Ron who posted it on his Twitter account saying, Right behind my house at 730. I think I have to move."
The Game Commission recommends that if you see a black bear it is looking for food (bird seed, etc.) so don't leave any food sources outside of your house and the bear will likely continue on its journey.
Several people responded to Cook's Tweet (some amazed he was able to upload the video to his Twitter since he is admittedly not good with technology) recounting their own bear encounters.
Even KDKA Radio's Larry Richert shared a similar story.
Ron is in the studio Monday so he's okay.
