The revived Pittsburgh Maulers of the USFL debuted their mascot on social media Monday afternoon.

The blue-eyed Maulers mascot has a yellow hard hat, Maulers shirt, and maroon suspenders holding up blue work pants.

He also has a mallet, like the one featured in the Maulers’ logo.

The Maulers are also still looking for a new for the mascot and are taking suggestions on social media.

Former Steelers running backs coach Kirby Wilson is the head coach of the Maulers.

Pittsburgh is one of eight teams playing in the league, and will play in the North Division.

All games in the inaugural season will be played at Protective Stadium in Birmingham, Alabama, with the post season being played at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.

The original Maulers were founded in April 1983 and only played in the USFL for one season before folding in 1984.

The Maulers went 3-15 in the Atlantic Division that season.

The team’s new logo and is updated version of the original.

The latest version of the USFL will have a 12-week schedule. The new league will be run by FOX Sports and will use NFL rules.

The league kicks off April 16 when the New Jersey Generals take on the Birmingham Stallions.

The Maulers first game is against the Tampa Bay Bandits on April 17 at 8 p.m.
