The NAACP Image Awards was created to celebrate Black "stories, culture and excellence in film, TV, music and literature."

The 52nd NAACP Image Awards, airs live on March 27 at 8PM ET on BET and will be simulcast on CBS for the first time. The awards are divided across seven major categories: Television + Streaming, Recording, Literary, Motion Picture, Documentary, Writing, and Directing. Winners will be announced over the course of the week leading to the main event.
