You listened to their CDs, you worshiped them, and hung their posters on your wall. And now since we have the internet — you can follow them on Instagram.

So, for those of you whose IG feeds are sorely lacking on the nostalgia front, that can be easily remedied by hitting the follow button for the following 90s artists.

Before we continue, we’d like to preface what's to come by saying — it was the 90s, people crimped their hair, capri pants were a thing, jeans we're ridiculously baggy and worst of all — bleached tips. Basically rules didn’t apply and nothing made sense, and tbh neither does this list, it’s kinda all over the place. With that said, we stand by our choices and think they’re da bomb, and if you don’t - well, then you can talk to the hand.

Though it goes without saying, in no particular order — here they are.

1 Alanis Morissette

You already oughta know this, but in case you don’t we’re “here to remind you” that yes Alanis has an Instagram, and yes you should most definitely be following her.

2 Snoop Dogg

Look, we follow Snoop and it was fo shizzle one of our better decisions (yes, even with his frequent posting habit.) We suggest you do the same.

3 Green Day

You’d have to really be an “American Idiot” not to follow Green Day. They have been, currently are, and will no doubt continue to be selling out stadiums and slaying on stage. Not following them is basically setting yourself up to go down a “Boulevard of Broken Dreams.” Yeah we know, we’ll see ourselves out. With that said, we stand by our point, they more than deserve a follow.

4 Weezer

No duh Weezer’s also on the list. See reasons set forth for Green Day above, just insert fitting Weezer song titles when needed.

5 Courtney Love

This grunge goddess, actress, and style icon is prolific on social media, not to mention as outspoken as ever. So hit that follow button, you won’t regret it.

6 Victoria Beckham

If you’re not already following Victoria Beckham then you’re totally buggin. For fashion, family and the fabulous life of an Ex-Spice Girl, VB’s IG is where it’s at.

7 Backstreet Boys

We don’t care who are, where you’re from, what you did - as long as you follow the Backstreet Boys.

8 Mariah Carey

All we want for Christmas is for you to follow Mariah Carey on Instagram. Okay though, lets keep it 100, Mimi is killing the IG game. From hopping on trends to replying to that Shawn Mendes shoutout and more. Mariah's IG feed stays reminding us exactly why we’re so obsessed with her.
