Black Lives: From Generation to Generation

Black Lives: From Generation to Generation is a new music project that presents Black Music as a source of moral truth and a potent weapon against racism. The project was led by Stefany Calembert, the producer behind the Brussels-based music agency and label Jammin' colorS, along with her husband, bassist Reggie Washington. It's a multi-national and post-genre collective of artists convening to fight for equality and social justice through music.

The producers put together a diverse group of artists including EJ Strickland who joined us to talk about the experience. EJ is a drummer, composer, educator, and artist who has performed on over 60 albums in the last 10-plus years. He is also a contributor on the new project.
