An elderly man accused of wreaking havoc in an Azusa neighborhood for years with a slingshot has died.
Prince King, 81, was found dead inside his home on North Soldano Ave. on Wednesday morning, according to Azusa Police Captain Robert Landeros.
“At this point, no sign of trauma, and officers were unable to determine any signs of trauma or foul play,” he said.
His death comes one week after his arrest. King was arrested after investigators recovered ball bearings and a slingshot from his home.
On Tuesday, he pleaded not guilty to several vandalism charges and was released from jail, according to KABC-7.
His cause of death is unknown at this time.
