Officers from the Monterey Park Police Department responded to East Graves Avenue and Cecil Street at 12:34 a.m. Friday and found an SUV which had struck a tree, hit three vehicles and rolled over on its roof, according to reports from the scene.

The driver was located outside the vehicle, assisting her 7-year-old daughter out of the SUV, according to Sgt. Rudy Contreras of the Monterey Park Police Department. Both the mother and daughter were taken to Los Angeles General Medical Center with minor injuries, Contreras said.
