LOS ANGELES (KNX) – If you used Facebook between 2007 and 2022, you may be due for a payday.

In December, Facebook’s parent company, Meta, agreed to pay $725 million to settle a lawsuit in which the site was accused of allowing Cambridge Analytica to get access to millions of its users’ personal information, according to the Associated Press.

In order to receive payment, you must submit a claim form by August 25, 2023. You can fill it out online or via mail.

It’s unclear how much money those who apply will receive, or when they will get the cash. The final approval hearing is scheduled for Sept. 7, 2023.
