LOS ANGELES (KNX) - Due to expected harsh surf conditions, the City of Manhattan Beach has closed public access to its pier as of about noon Thursday.
Officials anticipate surf reaching up to 12 - 16 feet.
The pier will remain closed through Saturday, Jan. 7.
