Man injured in Granada Hills fire

A  man was in the hospital with burn injuries Wednesday in a fire at a two-story home Wednesday in Granada Hills.

Firefighters were called at 4:45 a.m. to 11256 N. Paso Robles Ave. near Balboa Boulevard and south of the Ronald Reagan (118)  Freeway where they found flames coming from the second floor. Fire crews ascended ladders to the roof to ventilate the structure while other companies deployed hose lines for an interior fire attack, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.

It took 36 firefighters 13 minutes to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
