Man killed in 405 Freeway crash identified

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A 30-year-old man who was killed in a multiple-vehicle crash on the San Diego (405) Freeway in the Westwood area of Los Angeles was identified Tuesday.

The crash was reported at 3:36 a.m .Monday on the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway at Sunset Boulevard, California Highway Patrol Officer Michael Nasir told City News Service.

Juan Rodas was identified as the victim by the Los Angeles County Coroner's office. Rodas was pronounced dead at the scene

Witnesses reported four vehicles involved in the crash with "a body in the middle of the freeway," Nasir said.

The crash closed all southbound lanes just north of Sunset Boulevard for four and a half hours.
