A teacher for the Moreno Valley Unified School District was arrested Saturday and booked on allegations of public intoxication and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The arrest came on school grounds around 10:30 a.m. in the 13000 block of Nason Street in Moreno Valley, according to Riverside County Sheriff's Sgt. Sheree Anthony.
According to Anthony. a parent called the sheriff's station and reported that a teacher was intoxicated and on school grounds.
The Saturday school teacher was later identified as 30-year-old Salvador Martinez, Anthony said. The Saturday school has 25 students.
