A massive birthday party for singer Chris Brown at his Tarzana home was broken up by Los Angeles police officers early Thursday morning.
LAPD responded at about 2 a.m. to calls of loud music at Brown’s home, located at Corbin Avenue and Wells Drive. Police began clearing people out of the area, according to CBS-2 Los Angeles.
Although there were no arrests reported, police said that 300 to 500 people attended the party for Brown, who turned 32 on Wednesday.
Los Angeles County officially moved into the yellow tier, California’s least restrictive, that eases COVID-19 guidelines. Under the the new tier, indoor social gatherings are limited to 50 people and a maximum of 100 people for outdoor informal gatherings.
This is not the first time the R&B sincer has drawn inordinately large crowds to his home. In Novemebr 2019, Brown held a yard sale at his Tarzana home drawing hundreds of fans.
Brown is a finalist for several Billboard Music Awards, including Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Male Artist, Top R&B Album, Top Radio Song, Top Collaboration, Top R&B Song and Top Hot 100 Song. Winners will be announced May 23.
