If you’re heading to LAX this week, be prepared for extra traffic.
On Monday, construction crews began work on two lanes on both sides of Century Boulevard at Concourse Way. It’s part of the RUE project which is designed to ultimately reduce the traffic around the airport.
The construction is scheduled for 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is anticipated to last through at least Friday.
In addition to construction, there is ongoing construction at the airport for the Automated People Mover project that is expected to be completed around the end of 2025.
