According to a recent report, Taylor Swift is shelling out the love for her “Eras” tour staff, giving the truckers who transport her stage from venue to venue a $100,000 raise.
The New York Post reported that the bonuses came after Swift’s show in Santa Clara, with nearly 50 truckers involved in moving the star’s equipment getting paid out.
In total, that comes to $5 million in bonuses.
But the generosity of Swift didn’t stop there as she also shelled out bonuses to all of her band members, dancers, lighting and sound technicians, and caterers. The report did not specify the amount of those bonuses.
While Swift’s tour started on a rough note, with the release of tickets on Ticketmaster causing an uproar among fans and politicians alike, it has turned around, earning the title of highest-grossing tour ever with $1 billion in ticket sales.
Swift’s tour has also been so successful that a film is set to be produced about it, which experts have said will only bring in more money, this time, at the box office.
In total, the tour is expected to surpass $5 billion after Swift wraps up her US shows this month, the Post reported.
