THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (KNX) – A Thousand Oaks man was arrested for attempted murder after Ventura County deputies say he stabbed another man.

On Thursday, deputies responded to a wash area between the northbound 101 freeway and W. Hillcrest Drive at 1:13 a.m. for a reported stabbing victim, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
At the scene, they found a man with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
Investigators later identified the suspect as Jose Manuel Rosa-Aldana.
Rosa-Aldana was found in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive and arrested.
His bail was set for $540,000. His next court date is July 5.
