Chris Rock still isn't addressing the Oscar slap, but he told fans at a show in California, "I'm not talking about that until I get paid." He did says he's doing okay though, adding, "Life is good. I got my hearing back."
David and Victoria Beckham's son Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz got married, as expected, at her parents' estate in Palm Springs, Florida this weekend. Venus and Serena Williams, Eva Longoria, Jordana Brewster, and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay were all there. The ceremony featured performances from Marc Anthony and David Blaine. In a show of commitment to his bride, Brooklyn will take Nicola's last name as his middle name. He'll now be known as Brooklyn Joseph Peltz Beckham.
We told you last week about the response from Kate Hudson after Britney Spears posted to Instagram last week about her love for Kate and also for Drew Barrymore. In the post, Brit says she's "met 1000s of celebrities in the business…but I have to say the 2 people where I literally went speechless were @katehudson and @drewbarrymore." She went on to tell the stories of her awkward meetings with the two actresses. After hearing from Kate, Drew has now responded, saying, "I'm so excited, I'm really looking forward to her writing her book, because I think it's just a smart and intelligent way to tell her story. It's hard to put into words how I feel about her, but it is beautiful."
Kim Kardashian had announced that she had passed the baby bar exam in December on her fourth attempt, but now she found out just how well she did. Kim said she got a near-perfect score on the exam and that her essay was chosen as a selected student answer, which, according to Kim, "It means that when I took the bar my essay scored the highest so they used my essay as the model answer to show future people taking it what the answer should be." I'd be surprised if she didn't get a high score, considering she's taken the test so many times, she should have the answers memorized by now.

Fans were wondering where Jojo Siwa was, and in a post to Instagram, Jojo said, "The answer is very simple – I wasn't invited." If you remember, she called out Nickelodeon in September for telling her she couldn't perform some songs on tour. Maybe Nickelodeon has a long memory.
Ed Sheeran recently won the lawsuit brought by songwriters who claimed his song "Shape of You" was a rip-off of their song. Well now, he says he wishes he never settled a previous copyright case over his song "Photograph." He explained, "I think from there... the floodgates opened and they go, 'Well if you did that then....' I think that has added into this basically." He told BBC's Newsnight he settled because he didn't have the time to defend the case. After the settlement, Ed said, "I didn't play Photograph for ages after that. I just stopped playing it. I felt weird about it - it kind of made me feel dirty." Ed said he now takes precautions so he isn't sued again, saying, "everything is on film."
"The Real" has been cancelled after eight seasons. Host Loni Love confirmed the news in an Insta-announcement. She said, "In the end, 'The Real' cast and crew did everything we could to scale the show down. In my opinion, COVID costs killed this show." Throughout its tenure, the show, which was modeled after "The View," did win three Daytime Emmy Awards and two NAACP Image Awards.
One of the men accused of kidnapping Lady Gaga's dogs and shooting her dogwalker was let out of jail by mistake last week. James Howard Jackson, was released from custody after his case was dismissed due to a "clerical error." Police are now looking for the suspect to bring him back into custody. Ryan Fischer, Lady Gaga's dog walker, said he was "deeply concerned" but noted, "I'm confident law enforcement will rectify the error," adding, "I ask for Mr. Jackson to turn himself over to the authorities, so resolution to the crime committed against me runs its course, whatever the courts determine that outcome to be."

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences issued its punishment for Will Smith after he slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars, Page Six reports. According to the Academy, while Will gets to keep his Best Actor honor for "King Richard," "The Board of Governors has decided, for a period of 10 years, from April 8, 2022, Mr. Smith shall not be permitted to attend any Academy events or programs in person or virtually, including but not limited to the Academy Awards." In response, Will said, "I accept and respect the Academy's decision."
After airing on ABC for 30 seasons, "Dancing with the Stars" is moving to Disney+. The show got a two-season renewal as the first live series to stream on the service. Variety has also confirmed that the series won't air repeats on ABC, which means the only way to get your DWTS fix for the next two seasons will be on Disney+.
One of Lindsay Lohan's most famous roles is as Cady Heron in "Mean Girls." However, Lindsay told Vogue, "I wanted to play Regina [George]," explaining, "I had just come off of 'Freaky Friday', and I really wanted to play a pretty, normal girl now and I wanted to have a different kind of role than just the damaged teenager again." But, "Mean Girls" writer Tina Fey and director Mark Waters insisted Lindsay play Cady. Can you imagine anyone but Rachel McAdams as Regina George?
US soccer star Megan Rapinoe is threatening to sue Dwayne Johnson over his new XFL logo. Her wife, Sue Bird, is a co-founder of TogetherXR along with Alex Morgan, Chloe Kim, and Simone Manuel to help young people challenge society's conventional roles for women. After the XFL tweeted their new logo, Megan tweeted, "Welp. This is awkward. Only thing @TheRock and @XFL2023 are gonna be cookin up is a response to the Cease and Desist and an ENTIRE new brand ID." It appears the chief complaint is the "X" in the XFL new logo resembles the "X" in TogetherXR, even though it really doesn't. The only similarity is that the "X" is split down the middle, just like everyone's opinions.
