Anthony Hopkins won his second Best Actor Academy Award Sunday night, but as he made history as the oldest nominee to ever win in the category, he slept through it all. Joaquin Phoenix accepted the Oscar on Anthony's behalf, while Anthony's agent woke him up to tell him he won. The reason he was sleeping is because he is in Wales, where he grew up, and it was 4am there. But, Anthony gave a lovely speech on Instagram the next day, and it was nice to see him with the beautiful Welsh hills behind him. He paid tribute to fellow nominee Chadwick Boseman, saying he "was taken from us far too early." He ended saying, "I really did not expect this. So I feel very privileged and honored. Thank you."
In the meantime, while Chadwick's fans and several celebrities were upset about the snub, his family wasn't. According to his brother, Derrick, Chadwick would've been the first to congratulate Anthony on his win. He also said that the late actor used to describe the Oscars as a campaign and wasn't especially worried about winning one.
"Double Jeopardy" star Ashley Judd showed off her Franken-leg, with all the stitches and repairs, and by the looks of the pictures, I can't believe they were able to save the leg! Check it out at radaronline.com. Remember, she did break her leg in four places and suffered severe nerve damage after she fell over a fallen tree in the Congo. Now, she's sharing photos of the progress, telling fans, "it's okay if you fall down and lose your spark. Just make sure that when you get back up, you rise as the whole damn fire." As far as the recovery, Ashley said she's "coming along" and that the fractures are "healing," but her nerve damage will take a little longer to fix. She hopes to be walking with a brace and a cane by June.
Former "American Idol" finalist Avalon Young, 26, from Season 15 underwent a 16-hour surgery in February to remove a brain tumor, but she shared in a video on TMZ that she still has cancer and needs more surgery to remove the remainder of the tumor. Her next surgery is scheduled for May 27, and friends and family have set up a GoFundMe to help her cover all the costs. Avalon has a new single coming out on April 30th called "She Don't."
"The Talk" co-host Carrie Ann Inaba is temporarily leaving the show. She wrote on Instagram, "Hi Everyone, I have decided to take a leave of absence from @thetalkcbs to focus on my wellbeing. We all know health is the most precious gift we have. And I need to take care of mine." Carrie Ann, who suffers from several autoimmune diseases, also wrote #autoimmunewarrior. Her leave comes shortly after Sharon Osbourne's dismissal from the show. Maybe she's leaving to take care of herself, or maybe she's distancing herself from the hotbed that show has become. I mean, you can't say anything to implicate yourself if you're not there, right?

After Lil Nas X's controversial Satan shoes were pulled from sale last month for using Nike sneakers, he has found another way to bring attention to his new song. Now, he has a new line of T-shirts mocking the controversy over his latest music video for song "Montero." One reads, "I watched the 'Montero' video by Lil Nas X and all I got was this lousy shirt and now I'm also gay and love Satan" while another says, "I [Heart] Jesus, and that one part in the 'Montero' music video by Lil Nas X when he gets nasty with the devil because it was a cool form of self-expression and art." See them at okmagazine.com. But just remember, your kids can definitely not wear these to school without getting kicked out. And I'm pretty sure Nas isn't making Santa's "good list" this year.
