The iconic cheerleader comedy "Bring It On" is almost 25 years old! The 2000 film, which starred Kirsten Dunst, Eliza Dushku, and Gabrielle Union, is one of those films that's considered a touchstone for then-teens who are now in their 40s. Kirsten Dunst was asked by ET at the premiere of her new film "Civil War" if she'd consider a reboot, and she wasn't totally against the idea. She said, "I mean, it depends, you know, everyone's bringing back their stuff, right?" She had one stipulation, however. "As long as it's not embarrassing."
Taylor Swift's signature look is her bold red lipstick, but red almost never happened. First, her mom had to sign off on the look. Taylor's makeup artist Gucci Westman said on "Today," "Her mom, if I'm allowed to say this, was like, 'Well, Taylor doesn't wear red,' so I was like 'Please, can I just try?'"
Dave Coulier's podcast "Full House Rewind" featured Kelly Rizzo, widow of Bob Saget, in the latest episode. At the end, he shared how deep his friendship with his "Full House" co-star ran. He said, "When my brother, Danny, took his own life in 2021, Bob was the first person who called me and left a voicemail. It was an audio hug. I love Bob, and he loved me too. I'd like to close this episode by playing that voicemail message that Bob left for me. Maybe someday you can pass along the same kind of compassion for someone you love."
On her live memoir podcast, "Let's Be Clear," "Beverly Hills, 90210" actress Shannen Doherty shared that she is helping loved ones prepare for her death by selling her possessions and downsizing. She explained, "It feels like you're giving up on something that was very special and important to you, but you know that it's the right thing to do and that it's going to give you a sense of peace and a sense of calm. Because you're helping the people that you leave behind just have a cleaner, easier transition." She'd rather focus on the now and share quality experiences with the people she's close to.
Rebel Wilson experienced a big increase in salary from her early roles to later franchise films. In her memoir, "Rebel Rising," she shared that she earned $3,500 for "Bridesmaids" but later negotiated $10 million for "Pitch Perfect 3." She accepted the low pay for "Bridesmaids" just to be able to join SAG-AFTRA, aiming for more opportunities in Hollywood. Universal Studios initially offered $9 million for her return as Fat Amy in "Pitch Perfect 3" but Rebel negotiated so she could say she got an eight-figure deal.
