Britney Spears has not seen her 2 kids in 5 months, because they feel uncomfortable around her and have received some very upsetting texts from her ... this according to Kevin Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan. Kaplan spoke with Kevin after Britney posted her lengthy account of her relationship with Sean Preston and Jayden James on Instagram ... and says his client has never trash-talked her to their kids ... he says the boys have made their decision to stay away from her on their own. Kaplan says they have not had a single overnight with Britney in years. Kaplan says based on Kevin's discussions with his children and other evidence, Kevin was not comfortable having the boys go to Britney's house unsupervised. As Britney said in her post, a person acting as a monitor was present when the boys were there. See more at “Page Six”
A Texas church found itself in a bit of legal hot water after putting on an unauthorized production of the Broadway smash “Hamilton” - and reworking parts of it to include some preaching and a anti-LGBTQ+ messaging. Word got back to the “Hamilton” team and their lawyers, and the “cease and desist” orders came quickly. “Hamilton” writer/star Lin-Manuel Miranda had some things to say on Twitter regarding the controversy. “Grateful to all of you who reached out about this illegal, unauthorized production. Now lawyers do their work.”And that work can have consequences for the church. While Door McAllen maintains they obtained legal permission to perform the play, the “Hamilton” team refutes that claim - and if the production was found to have been performed without permission, even if no admission was charged (admittance was apparently free), a copyright infringement lawsuit can be filed and penalties can be as high as $150K.

“Perez Hilton” says Kim Kardashian still wants to get married, but not to Pete Davidson. A source tells the website, “Kim wants to get married again and Pete wants to have kids — none of that has changed. It just wasn’t meant for it to be with each other. There truly wasn’t drama between them when they decided to separate. It was something they talked through; it wasn’t a sudden breakup. They each have busy schedules and the distance made it hard. Kim travels a ton and it was hard for Pete to keep up, especially with his filming schedule.”
