Millie Bobby Brown, the star of “Stranger Things,” has enrolled at Purdue University in Indiana to study human services. Interestingly, “Stranger Things” takes place in large part in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. She’s taking her classes online. She’ll be taking her classes all while filming the fifth and final season of the show, according to Allure.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were married Vegas-style on July 16th, and now it appears they’re ready to do it up as only a Hollywood power couple can. According to TMZ, they’re having the big bash this coming weekend at Ben’s estate in Riceboro, Georgia. The 87-acre property was where their original wedding was supposed to take place nearly 20 years ago before it was eventually called off. Sources say Jen went into hyper-party-planning mode as soon as they got married. No word on a headcount or who will make the guest list.
Tom Holland had been absent from social media in the last few weeks but he returned on Sunday just to announce that he had deleted Instagram and Twitter from his devices. He said, “I have taken a break from social media for my mental health because I find Instagram and Twitter to be overstimulating, to be overwhelming. I get caught up and I spiral when I read things about me online, and ultimately it’s very detrimental to my mental state. So, I decided to take a step back and delete the app." Justin Bieber and pro wrestler Ricochet commended him for it, and Amy Schumer posted an interesting response. She did her own video and said, “I’ve decided for my own mental health to do more social media. I find that looking at my phone for eight and a half hours a day is helping me.” She ended with, “So you’ll be seeing a lot more of me on social media just for my physical and mental wellbeing.” Not everyone found the joke amusing.
Now that MrBeast has surpassed 100m subscribers, he’s inching closer and closer to PewDiePie who current has about 111m subs. The two have always had a friendly rivalry and supported each other, and now PewDiePie is sharing how he feels about MrBeast potentially taking his crown. He said, “Come on, I’ve been retired for like 2 years now. I can’t wait for it to be over […] that’s alright he definitely deserves it. I hope he does it.” He also went on to say that since his retirement, YouTube is “less of a priority” for him, and instead he’s been spending more time enjoying his new home in Japan.

“The Great British Bake Off” star Paul Hollywood says he works in the word “moist” into every show on purpose ever since a viewer said the word was “inappropriate.” Paul told The Mirror, “Someone once said to me they did not like the way I say ‘moist’ on ‘Bake Off.’ They said it was an inappropriate word, but I think it is a great word. I have made sure that I now say it in every show.”
Kevin McKidd says the upcoming 19th season of “Grey’s Anatomy” will be a “sort of reignition of the show.” He says the show isn’t rebooting, but thanks to a group of new interns, “It’s almost like we’re going back to the beginning if that makes sense.” Ellen Pompeo previously announced that she’s taking a step back from the show for the first time since it premiered in 2005. Season 19 of “Grey’s Anatomy” will premiere on October 6th.
“Flash” star Ezra Miller has faced a slew of allegations recently from assaults to burglary to brainwashing, with Child Protective Services investigating. Now, according to Variety, Ezra has apologized, saying, “Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment. I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.”
Showing off her baby bump on Instagram, Chrissy Teigan says she's not a fan of that "baby-in-progress" stage. She explained, "The in-between stage is my least-favorite stage. Just be huge already, please!"

Bryce Dallas Howard claims she was paid less than Chris Pratt for the “Jurassic World” trilogy, despite being co-leads, but he helped make sure she would make as much as he did in the long run, according to TMZ. Back when negotiations started in 2014, Bryce said she was at a "great disadvantage" because "unfortunately, you have to sign up for three movies, and so your deals are set." With Chris being a bigger star than her at the time thanks to "Guardians of the Galaxy," he was making $10 million compared to her $8 million for the JP sequel in 2018. Even though there was nothing he could do about that, he told her he’d handle the negotiations for her when it came to things like spin off games or theme park rides to make sure she got equal pay.
Amber Heard has hired new legal representation for the appeal of her court case. She hired the two lawyers who successfully defended the New York Times against a defamation suit brought on by Sarah Palin, According to TMZ, First Amendment cases are their specialty. Amber is still keeping Ben Rottenborn on her team, but Elaine Bredehoft, who was lead counsel in the trial, is out. No one has said why, but it sounds like Elaine had enough and was ready to check out, saying it was time to “pass the baton.”
During an interview with Elle, Adele was asked about her relationship with Rich Paul, and she shared, "I've never been in love like this. I'm obsessed with him.” As for whether she’d want to get married again, she said “Yes, absolutely.” But when asked if the ring she’s wearing is an engagement ring, she was quick to say, “I'm not engaged. I just love high-end jewelry!” Adele added that she definitely wants more kids, but all she can think about right now is her Vegas residency. Adele opened up about her decision to cancel it earlier this year, calling it the “worst moment of my career, by far” and said the reason she cancelled was because, “There was just no soul in it. The stage setup wasn't right. It was very disconnected from me and my band, and it lacked intimacy.” She was embarrassed at first to have to cancel but then knew she made the right decision, saying, “I'm very proud of myself for standing by my artistic needs."
Mariah Carey’s Atlanta home was burglarized while she was on vacation in July. Mariah had shared vacation photos online while she was away in Capri, Italy and at a mansion in the Hamptons. During the July trips, her Atlanta home was broken into. With so many homes, isn’t it always like she’s on vacation?
