What was really keeping Taylor Swift busy this summer

“Girls Trip” star Tiffany Haddish is filling in for Jimmy Kimmel and she talked about who her celebrity crushes are and who she’d consider having a baby with. While she listed Marcus from “Running Point” and #27 from the Yankees, she also named Tom Cruise saying, “no mission is too impossible for me” and Brad Pitt, adding, “he can press any of my Benjamin Buttons anytime.”

As if Taylor Swift wasn’t juggling enough between her tour, writing a new album, and squeezing in some time with her boyfriend, she shared that her parents, Andrea and Scott, were both battling serious health issues. As it turns out, they both underwent surgeries this summer. Taylor’s dad had quintuple bypass surgery, and her mom had knee surgery. She recently gave an update saying, “My dad’s like, ‘New arteries, new me,’” adding, “My mom just got a new knee — she's doing great.” Maybe we’ll get a song out of it!

"The Real Housewives of Dubai" star Dr. Sara Al Madani did an interview with Vishen Lakhiani, the CEO of a personal growth company, where she shared her secrets to a successful life. She said, "I heard that from a friend of mine. 'Don't love your job, job your love.'" Most fans were a little confused by the phrase while Vishen just replied, "I love that." Did he even listen, or did he even understand what she was saying? It didn't take long for the Internet to run with it, with many chiming in with comments like "Don’t stand on business, business on stand," and "Don't love your mom, mom your love."

Jelly Roll is giving back to someone you wouldn’t think would be at the top of his charitable contributions list - the former prosecutor who once put him in jail. Why? Because Jelly Roll said his time in jail “saved my life.” The prosecutor co-founded an educational center in late 2023 to help at-risk youth finish high school, while giving them hands-on training and certification in a trade. Jelly Roll is donating a portion of his ticket sales through September to help the center. Jim Todd said, “When you start a nonprofit like this, it’s very difficult. No one will give you money; it’s just an idea. If it weren’t for you, these kids wouldn’t be getting the help they need.” Getting a portion of the ticket sales is a lot better than leaving work to find out Jelly Roll came back around to pop your tires.
