Mariah Carey's mom, Patricia Carey, 87, and Mariah's older sister, Alison Carey, 62, tragically passed away on the same day over the weekend. Mariah said, "I feel blessed that I was able to spend the last week with my mom before she passed. I appreciate everyone's love and support and respect for my privacy during this impossible time." Mariah had a strained relationship with Patricia, who was a Juilliard-trained opera singer. Similarly, Mariah's relationship with Alison was also complicated since Alison fell into a bad life, becoming pregnant at 15, doing drugs, and turning to prostitution to make money. Mariah did support her for many years and even paid for her to go to rehab. However, she sued Mariah three years ago for the things Mariah wrote in her memoir. The suit still had not been settled. No specifics on theirs death are currently available. Mariah was estranged from Alison and had an on and off relationship with her mom over the years. She has an estranged brother as well.
Channing Tatum apparently was so against doing the laundry for a while that he bought new t-shirts instead for a year. He told GQ, "I hate doing laundry. Like, I hate it more than I can possibly say. I had one year that I called 'the year of the fresh white T,' and I don't think I did laundry all year that year and I just wore white T-shirts that I just bought.
