A labor commissioner ruled Brandon Blackstock had overcharged his ex-wife Kelly Clarkson her by millions when he represented Kelly as her manager. TMZ reports that he took booking fees for himself when he signed her for "The Voice," Norwegian Cruise Lines, Wayfair, and the Billboard Music Awards, something only agents - not managers - can lawfully do. Now he has to pay Kelly $2,641,374. Back when the divorce was wrapping up, Kelly had to pay Brandon $1.3 million, as well as $45,000 per month in child support and $115,000 a month in spousal support (which ends in January), so it looks like the scales will be tipped back in her favor.
Warner Bros. is gearing up for a bad opening for "Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom," which is predicted to bring in only $40 million on opening weekend, despite debuting during a four-day holiday (December 22nd- 25th). That's much lower than the first "Aquaman," which took in over $100 million when it opened in 2018. "The Lost Kingdom" has had a number of problems, including poor testing with audiences, re-shoots, delays, and slow pre-sales.
On yesterday's episode of "Live with Kelly and Mark," Melissa McCarthy talked about the time she was attacked by nature in Australia. While she was there filming, she said, "I got bit by something while I was there." It took a while for people to realize she wasn't imagining it and that "they'd put my chair over fire ants." From head to toe, they had to pack in ice packs to keep the swelling down.
Taylor Swift flew to London to support her friend Beyoncé at the London premiere of Bey's "Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé" concert film on Thursday. Seems only fair since Bey went to Tay's Los Angeles "Eras Tour" concert film premiere in October.
In light of "Girls Trip" star Tiffany Haddish's arrest last Friday for an alleged DUI, and her arrest in 2022 for another alleged DUI, the prosecutors from the 2022 DUI case want to modify her bond conditions and include restricting Tiffany from using drugs or alcohol and have her undergo mandatory weekly testing. A judge hasn't made a decision on that yet.
Martha Stewart may be 82, but she told People magazine that she's more than willing to pose as a "Sports Illustrated" swimsuit model again. This time though she's "working on the bikini body." Martha rocked nine different one-piece bathing suits her last go-round, but now she's working towards appearing in a two-piece. If she does get another chance, she would be breaking her own record as the oldest bathing suit model to appear in SI.
She is the queen of thirst traps, after all, so if anyone can get it done, she can.
