Dina's Dirt for December 17, 2021

With Christmas only a week away, you may be running out of gift ideas. Luckily for you, Paris Hilton is coming to your rescue. The newlywed is releasing not one, but three gift guides on her website. There's even a list that's pet-centric. Highlights include bedazzled food bowls for $60, a "Chewy Vuitton" chew toy for $14.99, and colorful feathered dog sweaters that'll set you back $95 from Maxbone's collaboration with Christian Cowan, one of Paris' favorite designers. Paris also has a dream gift guide (don't bother, you can't afford it) and one with gifts under $100 for the budget-conscious, like a $40 crystal energy candle, $50 silk sleep mask, and $100 beanie.

One of Tristan Thompson's paternity lawsuits (same case, different states) had officially been dismissed after Tristan and the alleged baby mama Maralee Nichols both testified at a virtual court hearing on December 15. Basically, it doesn't matter where the child could've been conceived. A source said, "The child was born in California, the mother resides there and so does Tristan. It would make sense the judge would dismiss this given the facts and the California lawsuit filed prior to the Texas one." At least he only has the lawsuit in CA to deal with now. According to legal documents, Tristan allegedly offered her $75,000 instead of monthly child support. He supposedly wrote, "My feelings haven't changed at all. [I] won't be involved at all. Btw if you think having this baby is gonna make you some money. It's completely wrong. You are aware that I'm retiring after this season. So in terms of support it will be whatever is required monthly for someone who's unemployed. It's texas so it will be only a couple hundred dollars. So you better off taking this 75k I'm offering cause you won't get nothing near that with having a kid with a father who's unemplyed [sic}. All you will have is a baby with a father who has zero involvement with the child and a few hundred dollars of child support a month."

Congratulations to "Jurassic World" star Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger who are expecting their second child. The two have not announced anything publicly yet, and their reps are keeping their mouths shut, but multiple insiders shared the news with People magazine. The two welcomed their first child, Lyla Maria in August 2020, and Chris is dad to 9-year-old Jack with his ex, Ana Faris.

Keanu Reeves shared that his mom, Patricia Taylor, is the reason he was a Playboy Bunny for one Halloween. Keanu's mom was a costume designer, and she created the bustier that Dolly Parton wore on her iconic Playboy magazine cover. Keanu said during his appearance on his co-star Jada Pinkett Smith's "Red Table Talk" that after Dolly was done with it, he wore it for Halloween, explaining, "I put on the ears and the bustier. I wore sneakers with fishnet stockings and the bowtie. I had some pretty long hair, and I was Dolly Parton as a Playboy Bunny." No pics were provided to prove it though but you can see him talking about it at consequence.net! Later in the convo, Keanu was asked which of his movie characters he's rather be – John Wick or Neo from "The Matrix." Keanu said Neo, "To be able to be with Trinity and have that life with them together." Awwww!  He's funny and he's sweet!

It's a behind-the-scenes look at her life, including her relationships with her staff, friends, and her work as an animal advocate. There will be plenty of highlight reels from her career, like footage from her time on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," "Hot in Cleveland," and even her "SNL" appearances. The show's guest list includes names like Ryan Reynolds, Tina Fey, Robert Redford, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman, Jay Leno, Carol Burnett, Craig Ferguson, Jimmy Kimmel, Valerie Bertinelli, James Corden, Wendie Malick, and Jennifer Love Hewitt. Betty's excited about it. She said, "Who doesn't love a party?!? This one is gonna be great," and we must agree. Tickets go on sale today, December 17 through Fathom Events. One more thing… This celebration comes just months before the inaugural "The Golden Girls" fan convention, "Golden-Con: Thank You for Being a Fan," in Chicago from April 22nd-24th. Betty's spokesman, confirmed that she will not be going, saying, "At 99 and about to be 100. Betty no longer travels by air."

With a little over two weeks left of 2021, Billboard has made their choice for the Greatest Pop Star of the Year, and it's not much of a surprise that Tylor Swift earned the honor. Taylor's good year consisted of the hit album "Evermore,"  "Folklore" winning Album of The Year at the GRAMMYS, and both "Fearless (Taylor's Version)" and "Red (Taylor's Version)" going number one. Coming in at number two on Billboard's Pop Star year-end list is Lil Nas X, followed by Adele, Doja Cat, and The Weeknd. BTS, Drake, Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa, and Bad Bunny round out the top ten.

A month after the Astroworld tragedy in Houston, new details have been released about the victims. According to the medical examiner, the 10 victims who were killed at the music festival died of "compression asphyxia," TMZ reports, which is what we expected to hear since they had all been trampled during a stampede at the concert. One victim had a deadly combination of cocaine, methamphetamine, and ethanol as a contributing factor in their death.

Ben Affleck says the comments he made about his marriage to Jennifer Garner were completely taken out of content and didn't convey what he actually said during his interview. Ben explained to Jimmy Kimmel, "I would never want my kids to think I would ever say a bad word about their mom." Ben believed his interview had been "meaningful" and didn't realize how his comments had been perceived until after it aired, adding that some listeners had "taken the conversation" and "made it seem as if I was doing the exact opposite of what I said" by focusing on only one piece of their chat. He said, "I had gone on and said how much we respect each other and cared about each other and cared about our kids and put them first." Bed ended by saying that the part of the interview that got all the attention "just made me out to be the worst, most insensitive, stupid awful guy," according to People. How long has he played this game? He should know how it works.

Forget managers and agents – it's Sandra Bullock's son she trusts when it comes to making career decisions. Sandra, who stars in the upcoming movie "The Lost City," told Jimmy Kimmel Live about a time when her now 11-year-old son Louis told her not to not take a movie role. She explained, "I was approached for something … but my son said not to do it. I was kind of not in the place that Louis felt I should be … and he was actually right! I saw it when it came out, and I went, 'Ooo, that's unfortunate.' He was like 6 when he asked me not to do it, and I said okay." Sandra added that Louis doesn't even watch the movies she does star in, noting, "I'm not his cup of tea," and saying that he'd rather watch Spider-Man or Japanese anime because "he's 11 and he has really good taste."

"Sex and the City" star Chris Noth is being accused of sexual assault in two separate incidents that happened years apart. The women have opted to remain anonymous. The first allegedly happened in 2004, the second in 2015. Neither woman has sought criminal charges, but Hollywood Reporter said the woman approached them separately months apart.  Both women said that watching the promotional tour for HBO's "And Just Like That…," seeing Chris, who plays Mr. Big, doing press brought forth the painful memories. Chris said of the allegations, "The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false. These stories could've been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago – no always means no – that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual. It's difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don't know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women."  Chris Noth's commercial for Peloton has been pulled in the wake of the allegations.

Tyler Perry got into car crash just minutes after leaving the airport in LA, but thankfully, he's okay. TMZ reports that another car cut across 3 lanes of traffic, straight into Tyler's path, and he ended up t-boning his $200,000 Bentley into the driver's side of her car. There were no serious injuries.

Supermodel Christie Brinkley said she has been diagnosed with acute angle-closure glaucoma. Apparently, it was found during her annual physical. How serious is it? It could have resulted in major vision loss if it hadn't been caught in time. Christie posted a pic of herself at the ophthalmologist, with one eye super bloodshot, and wrote, "I only found out because I included an eye exam as part of my yearly physical checkup, and my brilliant ophthalmologist spotted this problem." She went on to share that to fix it, they'll have to "drill a hole" in her eye! Yes - those are her words. But, we're sure Christie will end up looking glam as ever with whatever eyepatch they give her.
