Before "House of the Dragon," it turns out there was a whole other "Game of Thrones" prequel series in the works. In journalist James Andrew Miller's new book "Tinderbox: HBO's Ruthless Pursuit of New Frontiers," former HBO executive Bob Greenblatt reveals they had already dropped $30-million on the pilot before scrapping the prequel. Greenblatt remembers seeing a cut of the lost prequel back when he was still at the company, but he wasn't into it. He didn't think it could live up to the original series, so they ended up pulling the plug after already spending millions on the pilot. Later, in 2019, HBO announced a 10-episode season of "House of the Dragon"... the same day they announced showrunner Jane Goldman's prequel wouldn't be moving forward. You can see more at "Insider"

You may not have known this, but Lady Gaga, then known just as Stefani Germanotta, was on season 3, episode 9 of "The Sopranos!" Gaga recently rewatched her scene with "Entertainment Weekly." She plays a teen girl eating pizza, smoking, and giggling in the corner of the take. She reflects, "When I look back on that scene I can see exactly what I did wrong in that scene. I didn't know how to listen in a scene! I was supposed to laugh, and it was sort of like, cue, laugh.... I see it and I go, 'oh, that's not a real laugh!'" Thankfully, Gaga can see that she has "grown a lot as an actor" since those days. "The nuance and being specific as an actor is something that can grow over time if you're willing to listen and really hear the other actor that you're working with," Gaga says, "I see a very non-specific actor [on The Sopranos], and now I see myself as someone who is at least really striving to be specific without thinking about it, and that requires a lot of work ahead of time. I really thank my acting teacher, Susan Batson, she and I worked for months and months on this before we filmed, and Ridley Scott, an incredible director who creates a sanctuary for you on set to just fly."
Abimbola "Bola" Osundairo took the stand on day three of the Jussie Smollett trial. To review, the actor has been charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly faking a racist and homophobic attack. Bola and his brother, Olabinjo, allegedly participated in the hoax. Bola testified that the "Empire" star approached him a few days before the attack to ask him to participate in the ruse. He agreed to do it because he thought Jussie could help him with his acting career. "He told me that we would need another person to fake beat him up," Bola claimed. "He mentioned could my brother do it. I said yes." Even though Bola testified that he would've done it for free, Jussie gave him a check for $35-hundred. Jussie also instructed him to write a condolence letter following the attack to prove he wasn't part of it. The day concluded with Bola still on the stand. He's expected to finish testifying today. Edie Falco tells "The Guardian" newspaper that ''The Sopranos'' once had to stop filming because James Gandolfini went into a food coma. ''We learned tricks so it looked like we were eating, but we weren't. But Jim ate in every frigging take, and he ate between takes. There was one scene we were shooting, where he was eating a bowl of ice-cream, and in every take he ate and would then re-fill the bowl, and then at one point, I realized he's not really listening to me – he had gone into a sugar coma! We had to stop and shoot the rest of the scene another day. He was like a five-year-old: 'The ice-cream is good, I like it!' I was like, 'You gotta stop, you're gonna get sick!'''
