"Avatar: The Way of Water" director James Cameron is being brutally honest about what his new film needs to do to be considered a success.
Given the film's budget – and the money spent on marketing – James estimates the "Avatar" sequel needs to make $2 billion to break even! But it's not an impossible get. Variety points out that his 2009 "Avatar" and "Titanic" (1997) are two of the top three biggest box office hits of all time. These films are also among only five movies to pass the rare $2 billion mark.
Rumer Willis is pregnant. Demi Moore posted on Instagram that she's "entering her hot kooky unhinged grandma era," sharing Rumer's news! The baby will be the first grandchild for Demi and ex-husband Bruce Willis. This is the first child for Rumor, with boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas.
More details are coming out about "Super Sized Salon" star Jamie Lopez, who died at the age of 37. TMZ said Jamie had been dealing with ongoing cough that turned into a lung infection and even complained about her heart feeling weird the week of her death. As the ambulance took her to the hospital Friday night, her heart stopped, and though doctors were able to resuscitate her, it stopped again and she died early Saturday morning. At the end of season one, Jamie began building her own salon, "Babydoll Beauty Couture by Jamie Lopez," which had just been completed two days before her death. Jamie was just about to begin filming season 2 of the show.
After Argentina won the World Cup, "Wednesday" actress Catherine Zeta-Jones tweeted her support to the team, as well as her apparent love for Argentina's team captain, Lionel Messi. According to OK, she said, "You have to understand, I Love MESSI," adding that "the best bit" is that her husband Michael Douglas "is just fine with it."

"Dance Moms" star JoJo Siwa split from Avery Cyrus, and now she's claiming she was "used" and "got f***ing played." JoJo said she was "tricked into being told I was loved for views and clout." But, according to US Weekly, Avery disagrees. She said, "From my perspective, me and JoJo left on great terms and are still friends. The relationship was very real, and I have nothing but love for JoJo and her family. I'm still very hurt that JoJo broke up with me. And I'm saddened and confused by the situation."
"Sister Wives" star Meri Brown had been an ally to her sister wife Robyn, but a source said there's been resentment as of late. Kody and Robyn spiritually tied the knot in 2010, and in 2014, Kody divorced Meri, his first wife, so that he could legally marry Robyn in order to formally adopt her children from a previous marriage. A source told OK, "Meri, the whole time, was jealous of Robyn and every choice she's made was to get Kody's attention, 100 percent," adding that Meri fully "regrets bringing Robyn into the family." In the meantime, Christine and Meri talked about what led to the dissolution of their friendship. Meri said it all started when Christine left Kody explaining, "I felt very betrayed by her and that she was leaving me too because she's always said, 'I didn't just want the man. I want the sister wives.'" But according to OK, Christine, admitted that the discord had been going on for years, saying, "It wasn't safe for me anymore and I ended it. I just told her straight up, 'No, we're not going to be friends because I don't trust you." She said Meri mistreated her, noting, "She wouldn't be nice to me. She was putting me down a lot in public situations, especially if her family was there," adding, "I never knew who to expect and it was just too stressful."
"General Hospital" star Sonya Eddy has died at the age of 55. She played nurse Epiphany Johnson on the soap. On Tuesday, actress Octavia Spencer announced the death of her close friend, writing, "The world lost another creative angel. Her legions of @generalhospitalabc fans will miss her 💔🕊️" No cause of death was immediately revealed.
Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's son, Mason Disick, had his Bar Mitzvah on Saturday, after turning 13 just a few days ago. Kourtney and Scott hosted a reception at Offsunset in L.A. Saturday night, according to TMZ. Page Six reports the party featured three food trucks including Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers and Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, along with a DJ and a Star of David birthday cake. All the Kardashian sisters turned out, with Kylie Jenner catching people's attention in tight leather dress.

"Avatar: The Way of Water" stars Zoe Saldaña, Sam Worthington, and Kate Winslet talked to Extra about the challenges of doing a film underwater. Zoe said "70%" of the movie takes place underwater, while Sam added, "We're doing these intense scenes… these emotional scenes, but we're doing 30-foot-deep in a tank with no oxygen, so that increased the challenges." Kate talked about the challenge involved getting trained for the movie. She shared, "Seven minutes, 14 seconds — that was my longest breath hold, which wasn't easy to do. Playing those things underwater is really hard when you have to yell and open your mouth and the water goes rushing in. You absolutely know that you cannot swallow that water because that's gonna be a huge problem when you're 20 feet down."
Sharon Osbourne gave a quick update writing on Instagram, "Back home and doing great! Thank you for all the ❤️." Sharon looked better too, as she was spotted taking in a shopping trip yesterday in Beverly Hills, according to TMZ. Still no word on what sent her to the hospital Friday night in the first place.
"Beverly Hills, 90210" Tori Spelling was promoting a service at a doctor's office for getting younger looking skin, but her fans instead used it as an opportunity to beg her to stop messing with her face after she already appeared unrecognizable, according to OK. Even though Tori admits she does "look completely different," adding, "It looks like I've had a nose job, and it's straight now," she claims it's all thanks to her makeup artist. Tori insists what people think is her messing with her face, "It's all contouring."
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez threw a huge Hollywood holiday party celebrating their first ever Christmas as husband and wife. The two even performed a romantic duet of John Legend's "By Christmas Eve." Well, Ben tried to perform, and JLo had to step in and save the day. Someone from the party took video and posted it online, presumably with their permission or at the risk of never being invited back again.
