Drake Bell was sentenced yesterday on child endangerment charges. The former Nickelodeon star was sentenced to two years of probation and 200 hours of community service in Cleveland court. As we previously reported, Bell pleaded guilty last month to one felony count of attempted endangering children, and one count of misdemeanor disseminating matter harmful to juveniles. In her opening statement at yesterday's hearing, Bell's victim accused him of grooming her from the age of 12 and sexually assaulting her when she was 15. While Bell pled guilty to the charges against him, those don't include sexual abuse or misconduct and he denies that allegation. "Today I accept this plea because my conduct was wrong," he said ahead of the hearing, according to "NBC News." "I'm sorry that the victim was harmed in any way—that was obviously not my intention. I have taken this matter very very seriously, and again I just want to apologize to her and anyone else who may have been affected by my actions." Bell seemed to be in high spirits after his sentencing. The star hopped on Instagram Live with his son for a "Father son jam sesh," playing piano and singing with the baby in his lap. The broadcast has since been deleted from his Instagram.

Once you do that, stuff starts falling into place."
Sacha Baron Cohen has filed a lawsuit against Solar Therapeutics for using his iconic Borat character on a billboard to advertise medical marijuana. Baron Cohen is suing for copyright infringement, false advertising and misappropriation of his right of publicity over the Massachusetts interstate billboard featuring Borat giving a thumbs up and saying "It's Nice!" In the docs, Baron Cohen denies any connection to the company and says he's "never used cannabis in his life." In fact, Baron Cohen says he doesn't even have any corporate brand deals despite "countless opportunities." He figures Solar Therapeutics "took a gamble" that he wouldn't find out about the billboard – but he did. The company didn't take down the billboard after getting a cease-and-desist letter, so now he's suing. You can see the whole lawsuit at "The Hollywood Reporter."

Ed Sheeran recently revealed that a fire in his studio almost destroyed a prized guitar given to him by Eric Clapton. During an appearance on "Hot Ones," Ed explained that Eric was his "hero" and it was hearing "Layla" at age 11 that prompted him to pick up a guitar. Ed says he met Eric in 2015 and they became friends and during a visit to Eric's house he gifted him the guitar. "I went to his house and he took his guitar off the wall and just gave it to me," Ed says. "He signed the back and said, 'Keep my guitar'. I was like, 'Cool.'" Ed doesn't take that guitar when out on tour, and during one trek he got a call that his studio, where the guitar is kept, was on fire. The guitar was all burned up but it was "totally restored" although he adds, "it smells like a burnt house," noting, "that's my favorite guitar."

Kyle Massey is now a wanted man. We told you before that the former Disney star is facing a felony for allegedly sending explicit photos and videos to a 13-year-old girl. Now there's a warrant out for his arrest after missing his arraignment again. Massey claimed he missed his first court date in June because he found out about the charge with everyone else, through the news. The arraignment was then rescheduled to yesterday in King County, but he apparently never showed. Now "TMZ" reports that there's a $100k warrant out for the actor's arrest. Massey's camp says they've called the King County DA's office several times but haven't heard back. But a rep for the DA's office says that's not true, saying they haven't gotten anything from Massey or his team.

Britney Spears' personal conservator, Jodi Montgomery, is slamming the pop stars' father. "People" got a hold of legal documents in which Montgomery accuses Jamie Spears of using the pop star's own money to defend himself in court. Montgomery claims Jamie has used more than two million dollars of Britney's money to try and stay on her conservatorship. Montgomery noted it's ironic Jamie wants the conservatorship to reflect the singer's wishes when it's no secret that she has wanted him off the legal guardianship for years. The personal conservator is also noting that despite getting threats, Jamie is not allowing Montgomery any estate money to pay for her security.
"Variety" reports that Paris Hilton is getting her own Netflix show. The streaming service has reportedly picked up her YouTube series "Cooking With Paris." As you may recall, the heiress debuted her amateur cooking show on YouTube last year, demonstrating her unique – accidentally onion and garlic-free – take on lasagna. On Netflix, she'll continue to embrace her "very newly domesticated side," as she learns her way around the kitchen with the help of her celeb pals. Paris will be taking viewers from the grocery store to the table on "Cooking With Paris" – and of course, she'll be showing off her kitchen glam and party-throwing skills. She'll learn to sauté, sear, and zest, taking on new ingredients, recipes and appliances. "Cooking With Paris" premieres on August 4th.
The "National Enquirer" claims Kelly Clarkson was allegedly ok with taking a loss on her Nashville home because it reminded her of her ex-husband, Brandon. A source tells the magazine, "Kelly wanted to make a clean break, even though she left millions on the table. That house was an albatross for Kelly, too many memories of a marriage gone bad. The fight against Brandon and his dad is more on principle. She feels Brandon sponged off her throughout their marriage. And she doesn't owe him a dime.''
Congratulations are in order for Cedric the Entertainer. "Variety" says he's been chosen to host the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards on September 19th.
