Meghan Markle's team has responded to the lawsuit brought about by her estranged half-sister, Samantha Markle, earlier this year. Samantha sued Meghan for things she said during her interview with Oprah Winfrey, saying Meghan's description of her childhood and upbringing was false and defamatory. Samantha's biggest issue seems to be that Meghan said she "grew up as an only child," but Meghan's team said, "Meghan's response to that question that she 'grew up as an only child' was obviously not meant to be a statement of objective fact that she had no genetic siblings or half-siblings. Rather, it was a textbook example of a subjective statement about how a person feels about her childhood."
