Now that Britney Spears' lawyer is resigning, her mom, Lynne, has requested that Britney be allowed to hire her own lawyer or, at the very least, have the court appoint a lawyer that Britney approves of, according to TMZ. Lynne pointed out that Britney "had to perform in front of millions of people, has had to manage hundreds of performances, has had to use her artistic and creative talents to prepare for shows by choreographing each and every move for and interacting with many co-performers, and has had to rehearse and perform for many thousands of hours over the years" in the time that she's been under the guardianship, which proves she is capable of making her own decisions.
NBC chose not to renew the dramedy "Good Girls" after four seasons, which was as much of a shock to the show's stars as it was for fans. There was even a petition online to keep the show going. Now, we're finally learning why it was canceled. Stars Christina Hendricks, Mae Whitman, and Retta agreed to take pay cuts to close out the show with a short fifth season. Production had been set for Spring 2022 and everything, but then a month later the show was canceled anyway. Insiders tell TV Line that it came down to money and scheduling, and apparently, the final straw was negotiations with co-star Manny Montana (Rio) hitting a wall, just as rumors were swirling that he was clashing with Christina on set. "Good Girls" ends with a two-hour series finale on July 22nd on NBC.

Both of Harry and Meghan Markle's kids' birth certificates have been revealed and there's a big difference on them. As I told you before, when they welcomed their daughter Lilibet last month, her birth certificate listed the father as "The Duke of Sussex" for the first name with his last name listed as "His Royal Highness," and her mother's name as "Rachel Meghan Markle." But, when Archie was born in May 2019, Harry's name was listed as "His Royal Highness Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex" and Meghan's was listed as "Rachel Meghan Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex." Their occupations, which are not required on California birth certificates, were listed as "Prince" and "Princess of the United Kingdom," according to Extra. So, does that technically mean the kids have different parents?
Bill Cosby's rep claims he's ready to get back to work and that "The world wants to see Mr. Cosby." Supposedly, he is working on a 5-part docuseries, he's planning a comedy tour, and he also wants to visit prisons, schools and neighborhoods to talk about being good citizens and curbing violence, according to Dlisted. There's also talk about writing a book with novelist Frederick Williams, focusing on Bill's criminal case and prison experience. That's a lot of projects and a big turnaround considering Bill was "blind" and his health was failing when he was on trial for rape. What a recovery.

"Drake and Josh" star Drake Bell's fans have wondered why he has been tweeting in Spanish, but it turns out he's been tweeting in Spanish since 2019, when he rebranded himself as "Drake Campana" (Spanish word for "Bell'). The reason for the change is that he had plans to become a Spanish-language artist (he actually has a huge Latix fan base). On November 17, 2019, Drake told fans that he would no longer be speaking English, tweeting in Spanish, "My social networks will now only be in Spanish, no more English." Drake has actually released a bunch of Spanish-language, which have gotten millions of streams so far, according to OK.
Ben Affleck stepped up to protect Jennifer Lopez' teenage daughter. Ben, Jen, her 13-year-old daughter, Emme, and Emme's friend stopped by a bookstore in The Hamptons. Ben took the girls in while Jen stayed in the car, but when they left the store, they were swarmed by paparazzi who were getting pushy trying to get their money shot. Emme seemed a little freaked out, grabbing on to Ben, but Ben got super protective, putting his arms around her and her friend to get them back to the car safely. He told the paparazzi to step off as he got the girls back into the car. He's been getting close with J Lo's kids, and his kids have been getting to know hers too. The group was out together at Universal Studios in Los Angeles. Yet, I still don't quite believe the relationship is real. I still have that nagging feeling it's to promote her new project, and I'm sure he's got something big going on too. I even think they have the kids in on it, like, "Play along and I'll up your allowance."
