Shakira talked about feeling torn between her family and her career, confessing, "I felt guilt. I felt torn." Now, as a single mother living in Miami, without a husband to "hold her back," Shakira feels liberated, saying, "In a way, it's kind of good not to have a husband because that…I don't know why it was dragging me down, man." And since music "has played a very therapeutic role" in her life, it's good that she's got her upcoming 12th album releasing tomorrow, her first album in seven years.
Christian Richard, the husband of "Selling Sunset" star Christine Quinn, has been arrested twice this week, once for domestic violence and once for violating the restraining order. Christian allegedly threw a bag that had a glass bottle in it at Christine but missed and hit their son instead. He was booked for assault with a deadly weapon, and the he got arrested again after he came back to their home, despite a restraining order being in place.
As I told you, fans were upset with Drake Bell's former "Drake & Josh" co-star Josh Peck for not having his back following abuse allegations in the new documentary "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV." And even though Drake said Josh did reach out to him and asked fans to lay off of Josh, Josh Peck has finally spoken out himself. He said, "I reached out to Drake privately, but want to give my support for the survivors who were brave enough to share their stories of emotional and physical abuse on Nickelodeon sets." He also said it "took a few days to process" after watching the documentary himself.
Whoopi Goldberg admitted on "The View" that she started taking "weight loss drugs" after she had ballooned to nearly 300 pounds, saying, "there's nothing wrong [with taking weight loss drugs]," and that's when her co-host Sunny Hostin admitted that she also used the injections after gaining 40 pounds during COVID.
But then there's Tracy Morgan, who said on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" that it's having the opposite effect for him. Jimmy asked him, "How are you staying in shape these days?" and Tracy replied, "Well, that's Ozempic," admitting he did lose weight on it, but then he added, "Yeah, but I've learned to out-eat Ozempic. I gained 40 pounds." No telling if that was a joke or not, but even 40 pounds up, Tracy is definitely looking healthier these days.
