James Cromwell, Uncle Ewan on "Succession," superglued his hand to a Manhattan Starbucks counter on Tuesday in protest of their extra charge for plant-based milk. The 82-year-old, also known for "Babe: Pig in the City" and "L.A. Confidential," sat on the Starbucks counter wearing a "Free the Animals" T-shirt and read a statement denouncing the surcharge for vegan milk alternatives. He even shouted at the baristas as they kept serving customers.
James freed his hand with a knife to avoid being arrested, and the Starbucks location was temporarily shut down, which the protesters say was their goal. He could've just written a letter like Paul McCartney did, but okay...

Megan Fox's man, Machine Gun Kelly, managed to avert a courtroom disaster. According Radar, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge almost entered a default judgement against MGK in the lawsuit brought by a man who said he attacked him in a parking lot. The man told the court MGK had blown off the lawsuit despite being properly served. Once MGK found out, he had his lawyer rush to court to deal with the matter. Apparently, MGK had been served by notice in a publication. His argument was that his name is always in publications because of his fame and he "does not commonly read" articles about himself. The judge was okay with it considering MGK did act quickly after becoming aware of the lawsuit. Now, he will be given time to properly respond to the allegations.
A Boston judge found celebrity chef Mario Batali not guilty of sexual misconduct yesterday after a two-day trial. Mario opted for a bench trial, waiving his right to have a jury decide the outcome. The case stemmed from a 2017 incident where Natali Tene claime Batali forcibly kissed and groped her while the two were taking photos together. Even though the judge found him not guilty, he said, "It's an understatement to say that Mr. Batali did not cover himself in glory on the night in question" but added that the alleged victim "has significant credibility issues." It's not the first accusation of sexual misconduct leveled against Mario; he and a former partner agreed to pay $600,000 to survivors of sexual assault and discrimination as part of a settlement after a New York Attorney General's office investigation.
Zac Efron said in an interview with E! News that he would be down for a "High School Musical" reboot adding, "Having the chance to work with that team again would be so amazing." The first "High School Musical" film premiered on the Disney Channel in 2006. The cast went on to star in two more movies, with the third installment "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" hitting theaters in 2008. So maybe we'll get "High School Musical: The Grad School Years." Zach's got a baby face, but pulling off "high school" would be a huge stretch at this point.
