After six weeks of testimony, Johnny Depp's defamation case against Amber Heard, and her countersuit against him, is finally in the hands of the jury. In a key ruling on jury instructions, the judge sided with Amber's lawyers that Adam Waldman – one of Johnny's attorneys that was kicked off the case – doesn't qualify for privilege because his statements weren't in response to anything she said or wrote. Meanwhile, Johnny took his mind off his troubles by performing at an overseas rock concert over the weekend, making a surprise appearance Sunday night at Sheffield City Hall in England. He played guitar with Jeff Beck. Jeff and Johnny released "Isolation" back in April 2020 as a take on the John Lennon song.

"Bridgerton" actress Ruby Barker (Marina Thompson) is opening up about her mental health struggle. Ruby, who is currently in treatment, released a video from the hospital saying, "I have been really unwell for a really long time. I want to be honest with everyone. I have been struggling. I am in hospital at the minute and I am going to be discharged soon and hopefully get to continue with my life." She added, "I am going to take a little bit of a break for myself and I would encourage others, if you are struggling, do yourself a favor and take a break, stop being so hard on yourself."

Congratulations are in order for "Grown-ish" star Yara Shahidi. She is now a Harvard University graduate, completing her studies in the social studies and African American department of the Ivy League school with a concentration on "Black political thought under a neocolonial landscape."

Travis Barker's ex-wife Shanna Moakler is auctioning off her engagement ring following his marriage to Kourtney Kardashian. Shanna, who was married to the Blink-182 drummer from 2004 to 2008, put her Cartier ring up for auction on Worthy, and it's currently going for more than 72,000, but Shanna hopes to get $120,000 for the ring by the time the auction closes later today.

"Top Gun: Maverick" took in $124 million this weekend, $156 million by the end of the four-day Memorial Day box office,  and $250 million globally so far. The Hollywood Reporter says it's a career best for Tom Cruise. It's also the first time Cruise has had a film open to $100 million or more.

Ahead of "The Handmaid's Tale" fifth season, Alexis Bledel has announced that she's leaving the show. She has played one of the main characters - Emily/Ofglen - since the show debuted in 2017. She shared, "After much thought, I felt I had to step away from 'The Handmaid's Tale' at this time. I am forever grateful to Bruce Miller for writing such truthful and resonant scenes for Emily, and to Hulu, MGM, the cast and crew for their support."

Meghan Markle's estranged father, Thomas Markle, is home from the hospital five days after suffering a stroke.

Also getting discharged is Ms. Juicy Baby of Lifetime's "Little Women: Atlanta" after the stroke she suffered late last month. She also shared that the type of stroke she had involved a brain bleed.

Former "Glee" star Matthew Morrison is out as a judge on "So You Think You Can Dance." He shared, "Having the opportunity to be a judge on 'So You Think You Can Dance' was an incredible honor for me. Therefore, it is my deepest regret to inform you that I will be leaving the show. After filming the audition rounds for the show and completing the selection of the 12 finalists, I did not follow competition production protocols, preventing me from being able to judge the competition fairly. I cannot apologize enough to all involved and I will be watching alongside you all on what I know will be one of the best seasons yet." Since the 17th season has already started airing, Matthew will appear in four episodes.

Dwayne Johnson said his 4-year-old daughter, Tiana, still doesn't believe her father is Maui in "Moana." He shared, "She still refuses to believe that her daddy is actually MAUI🪝from one of her favorite @disney movies, MOANA! She always says, 'Daddy, you're not Maui, you're The Rock!'"

Elon Musk is finally commenting on the Johnny Depp / Amber Heard trial after having his name trickled within the trial. Responding to somebody on Twitter who recapped their thoughts, Elon wrote, "I hope they both move on. At their best, they are each incredible."

Former "Bachelorette" Becca Kufrin is engaged to Thomas Jacobs after less than a year of dating. She shared on Instagram, "In the ultimate plot twist…HE SAID YES!"

"Dancing with the Stars" pro Sharna Burgess has just sold her place in the Hollywood Hills and has moved in with boyfriend Brian Austin Green. The two are expecting their first child together.

We told you last week about the online controversy surrounding Kim Kardashian's new commercial as "Chief Taster" for plant-based brand Beyond Meat, with many commenters pointing out that the video never shows her actually biting or eating any of the food. Well now, Beyond Meat has responded with a TikTok with a caption that reads "For everyone asking, YES Kim Kardashian did eat the burger." The video shows several still shots from the video shoot that weren't included in the commercial, with a couple showing her biting into the food. Because that's the problem that was keeping me up at night.
