People's Sexiest Man Alive should've won years ago

No it's not 2010. Patrick Dempsey aka McDreamy aka Dr. Derek Shepard from "Grey's Anatomy" has finally been named "People's Sexiest Man Alive!" Jimmy Kimmel made the announcement last night on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" He talked to Patrick Dempsey about it, and Patrick admitted that even his family didn't believe it. Patrick has been in the running for years and noted, "I've always been the bridesmaid!" He did admit though, "I'm glad it's happening at this point in my life. It's nice to have the recognition, and certainly my ego takes a little bump, but it gives me the platform to use it for something positive." He wants to use the honor to boost the Dempsey Center, which he founded in honor of his late mom to support cancer patients and their loved ones.

Timbaland ("The Way I Are," "Apologize") is apologizing for a crude joke he made at Britney Spears' expense recently during a live interview. He said that Justin Timberlake "should have put a muzzle" on Britney before her memoir came out. Timbaland also referred to Brit as "crazy," which got a laugh out of the audience but did not sit well with Britney's legion of fans. Once that happened, he had no choice but to address it. He ended up going live on TikTok, saying, "I apologize to the Britney fans and her," adding, "Yes, 'you know about respecting women?' Hell yeah."

In light of Matthew Perry's death, a story from Matthew's memoir has resurfaced where he talked about how the group renegotiated their pay on "Friends." Matthew gave all the credit to David Schwimmer for making it happen. He said they were all making about $22,000 an episode for Season 1, but by Season 2, Dave and Jennifer Aniston had started earning a bit more because of their popularity with the Ross/Rachel romance story line. By Season 3, the WB was willing to give David and Jen even more, but David thought the whole group should collectively bargain together so everyone could make the same amount of money, even if it meant a pay cut for him and Jen. Matthew said, "I would like to think that I would have made the same move, but as a greedy 25-year-old, I'm not sure I would have," adding, "I owe you about $30m, David." By Season 8, each of the 'Friends' actors were making about a million an episode.

Walmart managed to get Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, and Lacey Chabert to reprise their roles from "Mean Girls" for their holiday ad, but Rachel McAdams, who played Regina George, wasn't a part of it. As you would expect, a source told Page Six, "Rachel McAdams didn't want to do it." Walmart wanted the entire group to be a part of the special ad, and the other three were more than happy and "loved being together for their reunion," but "it was definitely a loss not having Rachel there." She's got a much bigger career than the other three, a reputation to maintain, so stop trying to make Walmart happen!
