Saying goodbye…

Jimmy Garrett, the former child actor who played the son of Lucille Ball's character on "The Lucy Show," was found dead in his home on Wednesday, just a week before his 67th birthday. Willie Garson has died at the age of 57. He reportedly had cancer, but it wasn't clear that it caused his death. While Willie has 170 acting credits to his name, he was best known for playing Stanford Blatch, a gay socialite who was Carrie Bradshaw's bestie on "Sex and The City." He appeared in 27 episodes of the show and both movies. In addition, he shot some scenes for "And Just Like That…" the "SATC" revival series for HBO Max.

The family from "Schitt's Creek" - Dan Levy, Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara and Annie Murphy - reunited to present the award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series at the Emmy's on Sunday, but what really got people buzzing was that Dan has dropped hints about a potential "Schitt's Creek" movie, according to OK! He previously told E! News that "it's very flattering" that people want it "but I would just say generally I think you need to let the good things settle for a minute. Let people finish the show. Let people sort of take a breath." Annie's pushing for a movie – she said, "I've been sending Dan $5 a day in the mail as a bribe. So far, I have not heard back about a movie officially. But, oh, my God, I would be just over the moon if that ever came to pass because I miss everyone so much every day. Just to see Moira [Catherine O'Hara's character] again, I would pay a lot of money to do that." So my question is… where do I send my check?

Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie, and Craig Melvin, were caught off guard.  Some viewers were confused about why NBC cut to commercials so quickly even after the streaker was out of the shot but it was because they wanted to make sure he didn't come by for a second lap. Fortunately, while the streaker was on camera, most of his bottom half was covered thanks to the crowd control barricades, according to gossicpcop.com. Thank goodness for those Jersey barriers.

What an honor to be asked to present at the Emmy's, but when you're as busy as "black-ish" star Yara Shahidi, you've got to pull some strings to make it all happen. Yara asked the Emmy's if they could schedule her to present early at the awards show because she needed to catch a flight back to Massachusetts so that she could be back at Harvard for class the next day. Yara, who presented the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series award to Ted Lasso's Brett Goldstein, told ET at the show, "I do fly out tonight to make it to class in time. The lovely people at The Academy really helped me out because I was like, 'Guys, I have a hard out to make this flight.'" Couldn't she find a celebrity to write her a note?
