Now, this list doesn't really mean anything (it actually means nothing), but it is fun to digest, discuss, and debate about.
Of note, for Sixers fans, Joel Embiid was ranked as the league's 7th best player, while Ben Simmons came in at a respectable 23rd. Former Sixer Jimmy Butler was ranked No. 11, which seems ridiculously high.
Also questionably ahead of Simmons was his new teammate Al Horford (No. 18), Chris Paul (No. 21), and Karl Anthony-Towns (No. 13).
Other Sixers to make the list were Tobias Harris (No. 49) and Josh Richardson (No. 71).
Here is the top 10 in reverse order: Damian Lillard, Paul George, Nikola Jokic, Embiid, Anthony Davis, James Harden, Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Kevin Durant was not on the list due to the fact he is expected to miss the entire season and Klay Thompson was outside the top 50, since he'll miss most of the 2019-20 season.
