Jason Kelce broke down when speaking about being nominated as the Eagles' representative for this year's Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award, which recognizes NFL players who have exhibited excellence on the field, and whose passion to impact lives extends beyond the game.

Specifically, Kelce became emotional after mentioning his teammate and friend Lane Johnson, who has battled mental health struggles this season.

"Lane Johnson and what he's openly come back from this year...and to think about the amount of people that he's given hope to," Kelce said. "That's the business we're in. We're in the business of hope. What we do every day, what we do every game inspires millions of people. What we do off of the field, hopefully inspires people. And I think that it's something that I'm very proud to be one guy, a part of thousands of men who do that."
