Joe Giglio says the Philadelphia 76ers should blow it up and start "The Process" over.
"It hit me last night, something hit me," Giglio said at the beginning of Wednesday's 94WIP Midday Show with Hugh Douglas. "I think it's the last few days of us reacting to the Sixers on the show. It's watching Nikola Jokic play like a true star as a big man in the postseason. And Hugh, I just had a thought last night that I cannot shake. And my thought is, it's time. It's time for the Sixers to blow this thing up.
"I'm done. I want to blow the Sixers up. I don't think this is worth fixing. I don't think there is a championship in that room and I think the sooner they do it, the better off they will be."
Giglio clarified that he would trade league MVP Joel Embiid, let James Harden walk, and the only player he would retain and build around is 22-year-old Tyrese Maxey.
"I would trade Embiid, I would let Harden walk. Maxey is the only player that I want to keep around here for the long term. I am blowing up the Sixers here."
Douglas disagreed, saying he believes the team should re-tool, keep Embiid and remain relevant.
