The King gets to keep working.
Howard Eskin made headlines on Tuesday when he told Jon Marks & Ike Reese on 94WIP that he would retire if the Eagles drafted Bijan Robinson with the 10th overall pick.
Well, Howard wins, as Robinson was selected eighth overall by the Falcons and the Eagles ended up selecting DT Jalen Carter with the ninth overall pick, trading up one spot from No. 10 overall.
Last week, Eskin wrote his Eagles draft prediction and sealed it into an envelope.
The envelope read: "The player I think will be Eagles pick at 10—Paris Johnson, T, Ohio State (unless Jalen Carter is there).
Nice job by the King.
